In 1987, Atlanta Hawks players Randy Whitman & Scott Hastings with TBS sportscaster Craig Sager decided to open a sports bar & grill. They wanted a place where they could go and have great food, cold drinks and a relaxing atmosphere. On December 17, Jocks & Jills opened at the corner of Tenth St. & Peachtree in Midtown, with the San Diego Chicken in attendance!
After a couple of months Glen "Doc" Rivers and John Battle of the Hawks
